5-10

Back living with my mother was no amusement park... around the age of 5 My mother chose to not enroll me into school.. While my mother was at work.. I stayed with what was like a mother to me.. Her name was Ruth Porter . She owned her own tattoo shop, and she had a daughter named Olivia that was 8 years older then me.. I would stay with Ruth while Olivia was at school.. Ruth was a great artist and treated me like her own daughter. When Olivia would get home She always played with me. We dressed up, put on Ruth's makeup.. Olivia was a huge part of my life.. When i hit the age of  8 i finally was enrolled in school, while i was still in school, Olivia was walking home.. and some girls from her school had stabbed her repeatedly in her stomach.. She died the next morning while in the hospital..I was quiet for the next 2 months, and so was Ruth... Within the next few months Ruth and i grew closer and closer.. One night while i was back under supervision of my mother... my grandmother visited unexpectedly.. She saw heroin on our coffee table, and several beers in the sink.. She was furious and began yelling at my mother... My mother began throwing anything in site at my grandma.. I ran into the bathroom shut the door, There i felt safe.. Trying to cover my ears to drowned out the sound of screaming and braking glass.. Suddenly i heard Ruth screaming my name, i ran out and peered around the corner.. My mother then began trying to beat Ruth... Ruth then stormed out, Along with my grandmother... My mother saw me crying.. And she took me to some pond close to our house.. We didn't say anything for over an hour.. Until my mother told me... "Belle... You will never see them.. again".. She was right... The next day Ruth was gone.. and my grandmother never spoke a word to us again...
